SCSD Clean Start for Men
A 10-week, faith-based program available to interested inmates that introduces them to the addiction recovery process. Participants complete over 300 hours of course work in areas such as group discussion, faith and Bible studies, NA, Hot Seat, Life Skills, anger management, Popular Opinion Leader, Celebrate Recovery, grief, codependency, Men's Journey, Hunger for Healing, Success 101, Progressive Thinking, guest speakers and more. The program is 100% volunteer-driven and includes past program graduates who have maintained their sobriety after release, want to give back and have created a support system for those who will be re-entering the community. There is no incentive other than the incentive of self to enter the program.
