Overview
The E-911 Dispatch staff is comprised of eight full-time Dispatchers and one part- time Dispatcher.
Dispatchers are responsible for answering & dispatching all non-emergency calls and emergency 911 calls for Fire, Police & EMS in our county.
They are also responsible for all radio traffic, record keeping, Indiana Data & Communications System, Weather Warning Sirens, helping the public with any general questions or concerns and video monitoring and access control.
Qualifications
All Dispatchers are certified as Emergency Medical Dispatchers, Indiana State Police IDACS Full Terminal Operator’s as well as Department of Homeland Security NIMS IS-00700 & IS-00100 and Air Ambulance Early Activation.
