Patrol Division
 
The patrol division consists of the sheriff and 9, full-time sworn deputies who are responsible for patrolling the 454 square miles that comprise Sullivan County, Indiana. They are responsible for upholding the laws of the State of Indiana, responding to both emergency and non-emergency calls for service, conducting criminal investigations and are often the first to respond and arrive at motor vehicle accidents, medical emergencies and fires. This position requires a person who is disciplined, professional, has a genuine concern for others and is dedicated to serving their community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
